About

Amanda is the founder of Rest & Regulation.

In 2023 Amanda suffered from burnout, then depression and anxiety for many months, which led to her leaving her job, moving house and ultimately, moving city to start her life and work from scratch. This experience shaped the vision and purpose for Rest & Regulation.

Amanda completed her 200hr yoga teacher training in 2022 with Alina Bialek at Integrity Centre in London. She has 7+ years of personal yoga practice and has been meditating for 5+ years with a recent interest in Buddhist meditation. Amanda is also a certified Aria Breath facilitator.

Amanda brings her varied learnings and personal experiences into her sessions, using the practices that have helped her through her recovery and continue to help her regulate her nervous system, with an emphasis on communal practice and sharing over a teacher <> student relationship.

Amanda is an entrepreneur, coach and artist alongside R&R. She has lived in Spain, the Middle East and the UK and travelled to more than 30 other countries globally. She loves learning from other cultures and traditions.
